Cardiac Rehabilitation is a multidisciplinary healing program for patients who are recovering from a heart attack, angioplasty, or heart surgery.
Included in the program are monitored exercise sessions. Each session is designed to build strength and to inform patients of proper exercise levels in safe environments. Patients are able to attend weekly sessions that educate them on the ways to create a lifestyle that will help them live with their heart conditions. There is also a support group that meets once a month which provides each patient with an emotional pillar to assist in the healing process.
